2011 AIA / AIA Affiliate Golf Tournament a “Smoken’ Hot” Success!

By AIA Affiliate Committee

On July 15th, AIA Affiliates held their 3rd Annual AIA/AIA Affiliate Golf Tournament.  Over 64 attendees participated in this event with 16 AIA-NE Affiliate members as sponsors.  Held at Quarry Oaks Golf Club, this event supported opportunities for AIA Affiliates to spend a day with Architects to network under informal conditions.  Profit from the event goes to support AIA-NE Chapter activities.   The AIA Affiliate Committee would like give a special shout out to all who participated in the 3rd Annual Golf Outing…we couldn’t have done it without you!

Also, another shout out to Mr. Martin Lane for his “HOLE-IN-ONE”.  The Breakdown…Hole #8, 138 yards, 9 iron.  Nicely done!

What is an AIA Nebraska Affiliate?

Do you work closely with architects?
Are you concerned with the quality of building in our area?
Do you have a service or expertise valuable to the architectural profession?

If you are not an architect or architecture student but are involved as a professional in the architectural community, you are invited to become a Professional Affiliate Member of AIA Nebraska. AIA NE and the local component chapters have developed this category of membership to include related professionals and industry members on the state and local levels. The opportunity provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and the development of diversified continuing education programs.
